Hello!
Audrey Perry
Thanks for stopping by my page! I’m a grad student at Bridges Christian College and Seminary, pursuing a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling with a focus on theological studies. My bachelor’s degree is in interdisciplinary studies from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois, and I hold an associate’s degree in arts and sciences from Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, Illinois. My husband, Tim, and I reside in Fort Branch, Indiana, where we are raising our children, along with our niece. The Perrys have been homeschooling their children since 2007 and share their home with two dogs and a cat. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, gardening, listening to music, crafting, and sharing my faith in Jesus.
I am crazy about Jesus, the Scriptures, and the presence of God! I am credentialed with the Assemblies of God. My heart is for rural community churches, and I enjoy serving local congregations. We spent five years as a therapeutic resource and foster family with the Villages and the Department of Child Services (DCS). These experiences powerfully influenced my interest in counseling, psychology, neuroscience, and trauma-informed care.
Upon completing my graduate studies, I aim to pursue opportunities in college-level teaching and develop curricula and resources that will enable churches to adopt a trauma-informed care approach to ministry and evangelism.
