You probably didn’t realize when you texted me this morning that I went a little overboard last week in my Christmas spending.
And you probably didn’t know that my husband had just texted me yesterday suggesting we do a spending freeze till payday.
You probably didn’t know I’ve been on Pinterest looking up frugal kid friendly dinner recipes.
It’s not that we’re hurting financially, because we’re really not, we just want to be good stewards of all that God provides for us!
You probably don’t how much I really appreciate having a night off to not worry about cooking.
And you probably didn’t know how much that really blessed my heart to see that someone else sees some of the things I try so hard to be/do.
I know because I didn’t even know how much it meant until your text came through in pure Jesus style.
It’s been a rough but wonderful year as we said yes to God’s call on our life to be foster parents.
This year I’ve seen Him bless our family more than I ever have. We tend to think our yes’s are going to cost us financially, when really, the cost with fostering has been more emotional than anything.
Thank you for your selflessness.
Thank you for seeing past the chaos of your own life in this incredibly busy holiday season to bless another family.
Whoever you are, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your kindness.
PS-the pizza was really good! Sandy’s is my favorite!
